Term 5

The arrival of our caterpillars has caused some excitement this week. The children are watching them grow and cannot wait to see the beautiful butterflies. They have already grown enormously since they arrived on Tuesday.

A big 'Little Mixers' welcome to all of our new families. The children are setting in well and making some new friends.

So far this term we have had dinosaurs everywhere! The children found some dinosaur eggs in the Nursery and when they opened them . . . . . .  lots of dinosaurs inside!

The dinosaurs have been in the sand, the water, outside and inside. The children found the 'dinosaur bones' were great for hiding for their friends to find and they even drew some super dinosaurs of their own.

We have also been making the most of the warmer weather with lots of outside play.

Please can you ensure that, now the weather is warming up, you put sun cream on your child before coming to Nursery and pack some extra sun cream in their bag so that we can put it on during the day, if necessary. As our weather is so changeable, it is also a good idea to still send in a warm jacket or a coat in case it cools down. We always spend some time outdoors, whatever the weather.
