Looking at both sides of an argument
This week the children have been learning to look at both sides of an argument as they have studied the differing opinions there have been over what should happen to the Tropicana. It has been an interesting topic as most children started off agreeing that it should be reopened. However, as we have looked at the pictures of the site and listened to opposing opinions a lot of them have changed their minds!
The children are excited about the class debate that we are holding tomorrow to see if we can decide what we would do if we had to make a decision about its future. The decision is sure to be every bit as controversial as the decisions that have been made in real-life.
