English

For English this week we have been describing our perfect picnic. Year 2 made their own perfect sandwich, we filled these with lots of different ingredients.

My sandwich has one smooth layer of butter which is a soft as a teddy bear. My sandwich also has a slice of juicy cucumber. Underneath the yellow cheese is a lovely pale pink layer of ham. My sandwich also has a slimy blob of pickle. How tasty!

My sandwich has thick soft bread with crumbs falling off the thin crust. It has bright yellow cheese with a strong smell. There's pink think ham which has been sliced it's very flat. In the sandwich there's rose red, juicy, squishy tomatoes. My sandwich has crunchy, hard and juicy cucumber which is as green as  grass.

Keeping safe at the beach!

Today we had a visit from the RNLI, these are the lifegaurds from Weston Beach. They came to tell us all keeping safe in the sun and on the Beach.
To say thank you to the RNLI we decided to write a letter to inform KS2 about keeping safe in the sun. We are spreading the information and making sure everyone has a safe summer.

SLIP, SLAP, SLOP- This is an interesting slogan used by the RNLI and this will help you remember to be sun safe.

Slip means wear a t-shirt, Slap means put on a hat and Slop means apply your suncream.
