Ramadan Workshops
Circuit Training Workshop.
Circuit Training
Today the in Year 6 took part in a circuit training workshop as part of our Healthy Schools program. The children rotated around a variety of activities including boxing, wobble boards, row the boat, mini trampolines, hurdles, bench step up and push hockey. The children got their hearts pumping and enjoyed the variety of activities available.

Drug and Alcohol Awareness
Today Tuesday, the year 6 children took part in a Drug and Alcohol Awareness workshop. During the workshop the children learnt about the dangers of illegal drugs, the effects of alcohol on the body and the guidelines on legal drugs.

Friday Sports Special with HOTDOGS!

Week 4
We have continued to develop our persuasive skills this week by writing a letter to the Highway Agency to support an application to turn a zebra crossing into a pelican crossing!
We had a fantastic morning at the Life Skills Centre in Bristol...we experienced first hand how to deal with real life emergencies!
Week 2-
Water Cycle - We worked in teams to research the Water Cycle, before writing a non-fiction narrative inspired the character 'Drip'...
In Science this week, we have been discovering more about how the lungs function! We wrote explanation texts - Why do people die if they stop breathing? - after working in our research teams!
We will be exploring the most famous mountain ranges in the world accompanied by a range of powerful picture books!
