Forest school and mini- enterprise

Forest School
Making mud faces, building dens and talking about camouflage.

We worked together to build a den, sharing each others ideas.

We made a home for our outdoor beat baby.

We made wormeries and enjoyed digging in the garden for the worms.

In forest school this week the children made mud faces. They used things from in their environment to create a face.
Take a look at how well we did!

We have visited Westhaven School to take part in their horticultural enterprise scheme, the children will be selling plants to parents.

The children learnt about planting and made their own baskets.

The children wanted to create a shop to sell the vegetables and plants to parents.

The children went to Westhaven again to carry on the enter-prize in 2013-2014.
They had lots of different jobs to help with whilst they were there.

  • Help plant some more flowers.
  • Get rid of the dead leaves off of the plants.
  • Remove all the slugs from the plants/flowers.
  • Help water all the plants.

Following on from our trip to Westhaven school, we will plant some vegetables in our garden to sell to our families to help us raise money for our class mini-enterprise.

We have been busy in the garden this week as our potatoes were ready to dig up.
We sold them to our families to help continue to raise money for our class enter-prize.
We made over £7.00!! Thank you to everyone who bought them.
