London Residential

London

9th and 10th June 2015

What an exciting couple of days we have enjoyed! On Tuesday and Wednesday  Year 5 and 6 headed down the M4 and towards the old smoke London. After a slight traffic delay we headed down the River Thames and into one of the pods on the London Eye! From our sky view we could see all of London's famous landmarks - Buckingham Palace; The Shard; The Gherkin; Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and lots of cranes! After conquering our fear of heights we headed for the Natural History Museum. We loved the dinosaurs and were amazed by the breathtaking size of the elephants, giraffes and blue whale! It was then a quick pizza tea and off to Drury Lane Westend to be amazed by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The set changes and slush puppies were just brilliant! What a fabulous day 1... Day 2 we headed for Legoland! We loved the daring rides and were left amazed at the detail lego constructions of the cities of Europe and most important London. Here is a snapshot of our London trip!
