Pupil Voice 2020/2021

Pupil Voice Committee Term 4

Our children are the heart of our school and we think it is important to listen to their views on everything we do.

During this term we will be meeting with the children in our 'Bubbles' to discuss 'What activities the children would like to do during break and lunchtimes in their bubbles' Meetings will take place during the last week of this term. All children from year  reception to 6.

During this term we will be getting our children's views via Seesaw as we are currently in lockdown. Our key questions for this term are based on Home Learning.

Pupil Voice Committee Term 2

 

 

Our children are the heart of our school and we think it is important to listen to their views on everything we do.

During this term we will be meeting with the children in our 'Bubbles' to discuss 'What we love most about reading opportunities at Oldmixon'. Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday 24th November 2020, every child from Year 1 to 6 will take part. 

 

Key Questions

  • What do we love most about reading opportunities at school?
  • What are some of the new books we have been reading and had read to us?
  • How do we use Bug Club in class and at home?
  • What does Guided Reading look like in our class?
  • How can we improve reading opportunities in our class and throughout school?

Following our Pupil Voice meetings this week, we are pleased to say that in Term 4,  we hope to run an afterschool book club.

How do we keep safe in school?

 

Our children are the heart of our school and we think it is important to listen to their views on everything we do.

During this term we will be meeting with the children in our 'Bubbles' to discuss 'How we keep safe in school'. Our first meeting will take place on Wednesday 7th October 2020, every child from Year 1 to 6 will take part. 

 

Key Questions- 

  • How do we keep safe in school?
  • What has changed and why?
  • Who do we go to if we feel unsafe?
  • How do we look after our Well-being?
