Oak National Academy 1st June
There are more fantastic lessons to support your learning at home. This is week six on the Oak National Academy website but you can still access and take part in lessons from previous weeks.
In English you can learn a poem, have fun with rhyming words and write your own poem at the end of the week.
In maths, you can practise your skills in addition and subtraction and try some problem solving too.
Have you ever heard of Valentina Tereshkova? She was the fist woman to do something very special. Join in with the lesson to discover what this was. There is an exciting video to watch too.
You can also find out about Neil Armstrong’s famous mission to the moon, learn lots of facts about the wind, build a terrarium or begin a time capsule. What a busy week!
BBC Home Learning Term 6
The BBC is continuing to provide daily lessons for you in English, Maths and other areas of the curriculum too.
In English this week you will be looking at using capital letters and full stops when writing a story about pirates!
In Maths, look at how you would measure mass. What unit would you use? How do you weigh how heavy something is?
History- Who was Queen Victoria? Find out some facts about her. Can you draw her crown?
