We understand that home learning may provide some unique challenges with your children! We really want you to have fun with your children during the home isolation period.
In your child's year group page, class teachers have set a two week home learning page. These are ideas for activities in all subjects linked to a theme. They are designed so that they can be completed by the whole family or with siblings working together.
You will also find website links to the national Oak Academy for online learning and BBC Home Learning.
These are excellent national resources created for us all to use during these challenging times.
We recommend agreeing and timetabling 1- 2 hours of home learning with your children. Structure will make life easier! We would recommend Home Learning Activities spread out over 30 minute blocks during the day, with plenty of play and free time in between. Try to choose a range of activities such as maths, handwriting or reading each day.
If you are finding things difficult, you are not alone.
Please contact your teacher on your year group class email. We are here to support and help you.
Please continue to send your photos to us so we can share in your home learning too!
Have a look at this resource produced by the Education Endowment Fund for a suggested routine/structure to your day.
