Tag Rugby at Worle School

Year 5 and 6 were very fortunate to take part in a tag rugby event at Worle school. This was an amazing opportunity to try new skills and, despite the rain, the children thoroughly enjoyed it. Take a look at the photos in the photo gallery!

Daily Mile Challenge

Children from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were chosen to take part in the Daily Mile Challenge.

The children also experienced golf frisbee and fencing as well as the opportunity to complete the mile a day challenge with other schools. The morning was a great success and the children had a fantastic time. The children really got involved in every activity and their behaviour was exceptional.

Mini Football Tournament at Loston Campus

Children from Years 1 and 2 went to a mini football tournament at Loxton Campus, they all tried extremely hard and were even commended by a member of Weston College and Sidcot staff on their behaviour and sportsmanship. Lots of goals were scored and even more fun was had!

Our Oldmixon kit was also given a special mention. Take a look in the photo gallery to see how professional they look!

Participation Festival

12 of our year 3 and 4 children took part in a Participation Festival at Weston College on Tuesday afternoon. They had a brilliant time taking part in lots of different sporting activities with other schools from across the MAT. Well done to all those children involved, your behaviour and sportsmanship was excellent! Don't miss the photos in the photo gallery!

Swimming Gala at Sidcot School

KS2 took part in a swimming gala at Sidcot School. They all did amazingly well and all tried their best. Oldmixon came a fantastic 7th! A big well done to Emily who won all of her races!

Dance Showcase

12 KS2 children took part in a dance showcase with all of our MAT schools. They had been practicing every lunch for term 3 and 4 and all their hard work paid off. Take a look at their pictures in the photo gallery and look out for pictures in the local papers very soon! A massive well done to all of them and a big thank you to Mr Molland for organising.
