Rail Safety Workshop
Today, Year 5 and 6 had a visit from the community safety manager of Network Rail. In the workshop, the children were taught about the dangers surrounding railway tracks, who is legally allowed on them and what to do when crossing a level crossing. They were also given three important rules to follow and these were: stop, look and listen whilst crossing a track, stay behind the yellow line and never walk along tracks.
