Here at Oldmixon Primary School, we aim to provide a range of different activities for all of our children. This includes providing Forest School for every class in the school. Each class has one term of Forest School. It is led by Mrs Parker, who instills a love of the outdoors for all our children. Some of the activities include making dens for small animals, bug hunts, leaf searches and also making book marks using leaves, sticks and branches. The children are given many creative opportunities to take their learning outside such as making their own paintbrushes and creating mud faces. As an end of Forest School treat, we have hot chocolate and biscuits in the woods!
Each year group has a term of forest school, please take a look at the different class pages to see what they have been getting up to!
