Uniform

School Uniform

The school has a uniform which looks smart and contributes to the feeling of 'belonging' to the school community.

Compulsory Uniform

  • Red sweatshirt
  • White polo shirt
  • Dark grey trousers/shorts/skirts
  • Black, white or grey socks
  • Black, brown or dark coloured shoes
  • Red check summer dress

P.E and Sports

  • White t-shirt
  • Blue shorts
  • Black daps/trainers

For safety reasons, children cannot wear earrings during P.E/Sports sessions. This includes studs for recently pierced ears. If your child has pierced ears, please ensure that earrings are taken out on P.E/Sports days or your child can remove and replace them themselves.

Optional Items

  • Showerproof fleece with school logo

Please make sure that all belongings are clearly labelled.

You may purchase sweatshirts, book bags, PE bags and showerproof fleeces with the school logo embroidered on them from Concept Wear, Unit 7 Bridgwater Court, Oldmixon Crescent, Weston-super-Mare BS24 9AY.

Alternatively you may purchase plain items; Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and many other stores sell good quality items in a range of colours that will meet our dress code.

All jumpers, fleeces and cardigans must be red. These do not have to have the Oldmixon logo on them.

Children should wear white polo shirts.

All children should wear tailored trousers, shorts, skirts or pinafore dresses which are black or grey in colour. Skirts must be of an appropriate length for active play. In summer months, children may wish to wear white and red checked summer dresses.

All shoes and boots must be plain black. All shoes should have good grip, be secured to the foot (laces, Velcro or buckled straps) and be suitable for active play e.g children can run a mile in them.

It is essential that all children have a coat/waterproof for cold and wet weather.

Tights should be in school colours (grey, black or red) Children may also wear black/grey or white socks with skirts or dresses.

New EYFS starters are given a book bag as a gift from school fund.

We encourage all Year 1 and Year 2 children to have a book bag. However, a small school bag is also permitted.

Year 3-6 children can bring a small bag. As a guide, this should fit in a washing up bowl when full.

Any earrings worn should be studs (no hoops). Children are allowed to wear watches but no other Jewelry (necklaces and Bracelets).

Extreme Hair colours and cuts are discouraged

We would like to thank you for your co-operation in respect of sending your child into school wearing the correct uniform.
