Reading at Home

'Oh think of the places we'll go...' Dr Seuss

Although we might not be able to physically leave our homes, reading offers continues to be a place we can travel anywhere in this world or our imagined world!

On this page you will find:

  • Authors, illustrators and publishers are offering lots of exciting free resources for us to enjoy. Please see the extensive list below for you to use and explore.
  • Reading books - if you are looking for reading books to support and develop your child's reading skills and ability, please look at the section on Bug Club. These e-books are free to use. If you need support in selecting the correct reading book, please email your class teacher.
  • Audio books- these are wonderful opportunity for your child to simply listen and enjoy a story being read to them. See the link below for how to access thousands of free stories to listen too.
  • Reading challenges -if you are looking for something to keep everyone reading and looking at books, try this week's challenge!
