I previously worked for The Bank of Ireland for 26 years and was proud to be the youngest Suburban Branch Manager at the company at that time. Whilst working in finance has always held great interest for me, it is working in education, for the past 13 years, and at Oldmixon School in particular, that has brought me the greatest reward. Whilst not at school, I love visiting my eldest son who lives in Australia. My grandchildren, Louis & Evie, who live in Bristol, are full of fun and I adore spending time with them every weekend... and as much as possible during the week too! I have been an avid reader since childhood and read books every single day. My young dog, Daisy loves our beach walks, is full of mischief, and definitely keeps me busy!

My hobbies and interests outside of school involve spending time with my three children and my family/friends. I used to be a very keen runner, having completed loads of half marathons over the years, and I’m still hoping to run a marathon at some stage!
